If you grew up Mexican, you know palanqueta. That crunchy, sweet, peanut candy your abuela always had. 🥜🍫 We made it with Granulado Ibarra — and honestly, it hits completely different. Save this recipe. Recipe 👇

INGREDIENTS:
250g peanuts
250g sugar (white or brown, either works)
Ibarra Granulado (to taste)
Oil or butter to grease the mold
HOW TO MAKE IT:
Toast the peanuts in a pan without oil until golden brown
Melt the sugar over medium heat without stirring until it becomes caramel
Add Ibarra Granulado to the caramel and mix quickly — this is where the magic happens 🍫
Add the peanuts and stir until fully coated
Pour into a greased plastic mold and spread evenly
Let it cool completely
Flip the mold, unmold and break into pieces

My Mexican side couldn’t show up to 4th of July with a basic drink. 🍫🍹🇺🇸 So we made a Frozen Chocolate Ibarra Margarita — and yes, it’s better than it sounds.
Here’s how 👇
🍫 INGREDIENTS:
• 2 oz blanco tequila
• 2 tbsp Granulado Ibarra
• 1 oz fresh lime juice
• 2 oz orange or grapefruit juice
• 1 cup ice
• Rim: chamoy + tajín
🍹 HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Dissolve Granulado Ibarra with hot water
2. Coat the rim of your glass with chamoy and cover with tajín
3. Add tequila, dissolved Ibarra, lime juice, grapefruit juice and ice to the blender
4. Blend until frozen and creamy
5. Pour into your tajín-rimmed glass
6. Sip and yes — it’s better than it sounds 🍫

The snack nobody saw coming 🍫
Mini flanes con Chocolate Ibarra granulado — because in a Mexican household, the food is always the move. Recipe below ↓
RECIPE
Chocolate Ibarra Mini Flanes Extra creamy. Extra delicious.
Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk (375g)
½ cup Chocolate Ibarra granulado
1 can evaporated milk (360g)
4 eggs, room temperature
80g cream cheese
½ cup sugar
You’ll also need:
16–20 cm round baking pan
Aluminum foil
Pot for water bath (bain-marie)
Steps:
Mix condensed milk with Chocolate Ibarra granulado until fully dissolved.
Blend evaporated milk, the condensed milk + Ibarra mix, cream cheese, and eggs until smooth.
Add sugar to the pan and heat on very low until it melts into caramel. (TIP: watch closely)
Pour the blended mixture into the pan, cover with aluminum foil, and cook in a water bath for 1 hour 20 minutes.
Cool to room temperature, then run a spatula around the edges before unmolding.
Refrigerate and enjoy 🍫
